The Brian McMillen Veterans Scholarship 5K Run 2008
This event was a complete success. With Every ones support and help we raised $7000 dollars for the Brian McMillen Veterans Scholarship. This was a huge accomplishment and we could not be happier with the out come. There was 338 runners race day and 138 of them registered that day. The runners stuck with us even though the weather was not ideal. The memebrs of the club thank you for that. The club will also be donating the remaining water and T shirts to the American Red Cross to help with flood relief efforts. Thank you to all our supporters and members of the club and we hope to see you next year. Our goal is to raise enough money to get an endowment, that way the scholarship will remain and so will the spirit of Brian.
